Last year...lol I think I just threw on a black dress and some cat ears to help take my nephews trick or treating :)

hmmm...twizzlers, rieces pieces...

{four} did you have a favorite costume growing up?

I don't remember having a favorite costume

{five} did you carve pumpkins this year?

Yes! My first one ever, too! ...I posted about it earlier this month :)

{six} what’s your favorite scary movie?

I don't know that I have a favorite, but it seems like a must to watch the Halloween movies every year.

{seven} haunted houses or corn mazes?

Haunted houses

{eight} are you superstitious?

Not really

{nine} have you ever owned a black cat?

Yep, when I was in elementary school and high school.

{ten} what are you plans for this coming halloween?

Well hopefully we'll get trick or treaters! (I should probably find out from my neighbors...) and we are having our friends over for a costume party :)

{one} have you ever crawled through a window?

Haha, yes...a few times!! When I was in high school there were a couple times my sister and I forgot the house key so she lift me up so I could climb in our bedroom window and unlock the door. Lol, and another time...(only about a year ago!) I had an assignment due that I needed to email to my professor, but I lived 40min outside of town and the school lab was open, so my friend told me to climb through her window and I could use her computer! (I have a key to her place now, thank goodness )  :]

{two} what’s one subject that you wish you knew more about?

Science...I've always enjoyed it and I don't think you could ever learn too much from or about it :)

{three} who’s your favorite villain?

Oh gosh, this is a tough one! ....but I think I'm gonna have to go with James from the movie Twilight...mainly because he is played by Cam Gigandet and he is SOOO good looking ;)

{four} have you ever hit a jackpot on a slot machine?

Sadly, no!

{five} what is your favorite disney movie?

It is really hard to choose a favorite! How about I pick two?! Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast :]

{six} if the whole world were listening, what would you say?

Jesus loves you unconditionally!!

Currently, very messy!

Yes! Last November I had my wisdom teeth taken out ...haha and that's about as much surgery as I've had!

{ten} if you could have any animal as a pet, what would you have?

I love my pekingnese Chooie...he is what I wanted and I got him in January :)

Pumpkin Carving with Friends

This past week I met up with some of my awesome friends for a night of pumpkin carving :)

I know it was a little early to carve, but it was the best night b/n all of our work schedules to get together.

This is officially the first pumpkin I've ever carved!

I had fun with the girls and was really happy with the end result of my pumpkin!

Unfortunately, I awoke this morning to find my pumpkin looking a little lopsided on my kitchen counter....he was rotting :/  and therefore I had to throw him away ::tear::

Hopefully I'll get a chance to carve another before Halloween :)

Halloween Decorations (1)

Just wanted to make a short post about my Halloween Decor...it's coming together!

I have been working a lot of hours so I REALLY have not had time to craft...in fact I haven't finished my Halloween Party invites yet and Halloween is a little more than two weeks away!

Anyways...last time I went to goodwill, same time I bought my candelabra for Halloween, I also got these candle sconces (lol I believe that's what they are!).

They were $1.91 apiece :) Happy Day! I didn't have to do a thing to them!

I just hung some eerie cloth I bought from the dollar store and a couple of red candles from Wal-mart. Can we say inexpensive?!

{one} have you ever milked a cow or a goat?

Nope...never milked either! But...i think it would be a cool experience!

{two} what sound does your alarm make when it goes off in the morning?

ERRRR, ERRRR, ERRRR, ERRR.... haha it's REALLY annoying! I still sleep through it half the time though, so one that played music wouldn't phase me! haha

{three} chocolate milk or hot chocolate?

{four} what is one of the quirkiest things about you?

hmmmm.....i get really giggly at bedtime...mostly when i'm staying with friends haha!

{five} are you more like your mom or your dad?

Definately my mom....dad who? lol

Nope!

{seven} if you were a crayon, what color would you be?

I'd love to say pink or red...but then brown came to mind, so i must be meant to be a brown crayon! haha :p

{nine} do you play any musical instruments?

No, but I wish I could! I played a little piano when I was little..you know, rudolph, frosty the snowman, 3 blind mice :)

{ten} what’s the worst thing you’ve ever cooked/baked?

I can't remember :/ I make chili..and i make it good...but...there has been a time or two that i had my burner on too high and burned the bottom!

Bushels of fun at the Apple Festival!

I had a pretty awesome weekend hanging out with some great friends :)

I don't get to do much, honestly..between working full time and spending a few evenings every week coaching colorguard at my younger sister's high school..it was nice to get away with the girls!

My friend Stephanie had been to this Apple Festival in Ellijay, GA last year with her family and thought it would make a good trip with friends. It's a 3 hour drive from where we live, so we drove up Friday night and stayed at a cute little hotel that was only about 5 minutes from the festival (and had a pretty awesome view).

It was nice seeing all the vendors and their crafts! Haha, my friend Antonya  saw a couple things she liked, but didn't buy anything. She was like, "Crystal can make that for me!" :) Anywho, I love seeing other people's creations!

After a few hours at the festival, we went to a nearby apple orchard for a mini photoshoot! You could pick your own apples too!
