UGH!!
I hate Windows Vista...seriously. I got my Dell laptop two summers ago and it's a great computer...except for the fact that it uses Windows Vista.
Why, you ask? Well let me tell you!
Downloads.
After I started using my laptop, my friend introduced me to a site where I could get cute free fonts. So I visited the site and downloaded some awesome fonts and never looked back. Well, here recently I've found new fonts and digital scrapbook material that I wanted to download and use (hadn't tried downloading anything in at least a year). Problem...now my computer won't open the downloads. It makes me SOOO mad!! At first, I checked out my default program and it was set to Microsoft Office, which opened things and just gave me a pop up box says the download was missing something or invalid or some crap. So I changed my default to Internet Explorer....and it still doesn't open my downloads :( Even worse...if I click "open" then my computer goes crazy and 15 different windows pop up and flash crazily. Through all that madness, I have to be extremely patient through this virus-like action to find the file, send to trash, then permenantly delete, for the madness to stop.
I googled...and no one has any answers. There were forums where other people had trouble downloading because of Vista.
I'm sad and don't know what to do...end of story :(
Thanks for allowing me to vent, haha.
